The simple family-run Kerkis Bay Hotel should hold great appeal for anyone looking for an 'old style' Greek holiday. Located just back from the harbour of this characterful fishing village, all the facilities of the village, as well as the small beach, are withing a few minutes' easy walk. You don't even have to go that far because the hotel has its own well-liked traditional taverna restaurant overlooking the sea.
The 25 rooms, a mix of twins and doubles, are simply but attractively furnished. They are housed in two buildings, one of which has a lift. All have air conditioning, TV, WiFi (can be a little erratic), shower room, room safe, telephone, hairdryer, fridge and a balcony.
The suites possess a double bedroom plus a living room with an extra bed and a sofa-bed. Facilities are as per the standard rooms except that they have a bath as well as shower.
Sunvil's rooms and suites are usually to the side (which is quieter) and have south-west facing balconies with lovely views over the village towards Mount Kerkis which rises behind.
A traditional family-run small village hotel, extremely friendly and in a super location. Particularly good for anyone with walking difficulties (request the building with a lift) with everything you should need - shops, tavernas, beach - close to hand.
